What’s the issue with the no disc stuff? Is it that it’s going to set an industry standard and other games will follow as a means to cut production costs and you won’t physically own games anymore and some games could just be shut off and you won’t have access?
Yeah, but it's funny like we're already there. Getting mad over the discs in particular is a fools errand
Now if the physicals come with a map, stickers, etc, cool. But the formality of the discs have already been functionally phased out, especially coming from a PC user

People like physically having games even if games can’t fit on disc this isn’t shocking and we discussed this past couple days

idk cause this is nothing new. this is 10 year old outrage lol
Odd behavior
I'm buying the game either way

Think it’s the latter. Personally I’m not upset but I get it

what AAA games actually do not exist on disc at all?
Odd behavior
Odd comment
Like I'm just saying lesser games have cost more money

Worst part is the week early version is a day after my mom’s bday
She’s gonna have to understand if my mind drifts off elsewhere on occasion

Oh I think it's week early only for loading lol not playing
Don't even have to be a real disc, even a dummy will do, Rockstar PLEASE
It’s gonna be years lol watch
years? nah. Red Dead 2 was only a year.
PC gaming is way bigger now.
So there’s a paywall if you don’t buy the $100 one you can’t use the garage to mod your car and do extra side missions?
Regardless I’m still buying the $100 ultimate edition
People complaing about the ultimate edition but I think it's a good deal lowkey
I mean u got all that for only $20 more, meanwhile gta 5's ultimade edition was $150 for a blimp and some Rockstar merch
Fr?
I would regret buying a console if I bought it for that single player
Just bought a $100 psn card for $88. How am I doing @Kr0niic

could have gotten it for $85 at costco
Complaining about the cost of a single player video game never made sense to me. Don't these all get cracked?

Alan wake 2 didn't have physicals at first, but they sold some in limited quantities eventually, that's what comes to mind first, and it's not the most common thing to forgo physicals YET, I think sea of thieves only has physicals on Xbox for instance...
I think for me, if every game requires an Internet connection by default to simply install the rest of the game and play it, we already lost. So worrying about those ~25 gigs on that disc when the games are 100+ gigs already just feels like.....who cares, it's a formality atp

hey f*** u

Not on (current-gen) consoles

Nvm then. I thought rd2 was years
Getting a laptop and waiting may give me the most dopamine
Unless I'm mistsken and the PS5 got jailbroken already
