Now GTA v was overhyped and overrated? Really dude? I don't like V as much as even IV or San Andreas but I know and understand why it's the biggest game of all time it was never overrated.

GTA Online is a genuine timesink. On its best days, it's an addictive loop.

I stated I don't like it as much as V but I understand as a game why it's so beloved. Singleplay wise. I don't play multiplayer or care for that s*** but apparently it makes them a ton of money and I know that millions of ppl are into that multiplayer s*** so they obviously did something right. I think most thought V was pretty damn incredible on launch lol. Maybe some didn't idk there's always exceptions. I'm definitely tired of it now obviously which is why I want VI so bad especially after the direction they went with RDR2 one can only assume that level of polish, realism (to a degree)and graphical fidelity along with storytelling and mission design will be present and improved on. Yes I'll admit it still has to prove itself but Rockstar if any company in the fkn world has definitely earned the benefit of the doubt until they drop a game and prove otherwise

V was never their absolute best work design wise . Driving and world was good as was shooting . But were ai and missions that enjoyable idk man

Well idk bruh. Many people thought the open world , multiple protagonists, missions, etc was pretty damn groundbreaking for the time. It deserved the scores it got and I can say that with it not being my favorite gta.

I know there's certain things you'd like to see e.g RPG elements, varied mission design. But is there anything they could show/not show in a gameplay trailer that would make you say "I'm NOT getting this " ?

This game is already a guaranteed cop for most people, that's why I don't really get "They need to show gameplay" for GTA specifically. We know the game will be missions in an immersive open world with the ability to cause chaos if the player wants to. They don't need to show what they've done to modernise the formula 3+ months in advance to convince anyone

If the social media mechanic is the main draw and some relationship meter I can wait for pc . I sold ps5 after I beat final fantasy xvi to a friend . Gave another friend my spider man 2 . So to play gta I would get a console for launch then sell likely when it drops on pc

Nothing in june or july its getting delayed with news in august
