Genuinely a 4/10 game to me at best. The lack of effort just pissed me off, I'm never giving that franchise another shot

the speed at which society has been changing, there’s no way they can make a truly “modern” game.

knoway / waymo online missions were proof to me they can’t have their level or production while keeping up with american culture bc it’s just moves too fast

it’s going to be interesting to see what the story is like. it’s def going to be modern but it will be funny to see what parts is outdated, if any. but part of me feels like they’re smart / literate enough to know how to make it semi - timeless enough

it’s funny bc i guess every big budget media product suffers this problem, but rarely are they satires that are this monumental

the genre itself and nature of game design kinda work against it’s desire to make “timely” commentary but i feel like they’re good enough writers to work around it

i feel like we’re going to have a mix of gritty from IV with blockbuster action from V

i’m anticipating that it’s going to be kind of its own crime thriller, pulling from a lot of movies and tv shows but at its core be a biting satire of the nature of american capitalism
