I would usually say yes but I don't think it's going to happen with GTA VI. People will be satisfied

And they are doing dual protagonist again . Which I think may be a bit better because they are dating but . I think multiple protagonist at all is an unnecessary gimmick that often does a disservice to someone . I would prefer some level of choice over that
I pretty much only played as Michael unless I was forced to change. Trevor's shtick got old quickly and Franklin was just dull.
They should drop with no third trailer
Would be hilarious
If they don’t do a gameplay trailer or walkthrough I’m not buying . I’m not taking previews word for it hype wise when I would be getting a console again to play . FOMO not that bad

It’s why my hype already mellowed . Online will be cool but it will take a little while . I’ll enjoy single player for what it is but I was crazy hyped for V lol . There was a point where rumors wise we thought V would be returning protagonist meeting up in San Andreas with major character returns

It will be a variety reviews 8-10 with many disappointed because they set their heights too high . GTA gunplay isn’t Max Payne level . Driving and exploration will be fun . Social media mechanic I know will be a gimmick I’m shocked it’s really the only mechanic they’ve talked about extensively

Seeing the old protagonists return would be awesome. I dont like that the PS2 games are in a different "universe" like what's the point
I wanna see what the old squad is up to. Tommy wouldnt be the same tho
but still

Those characters are so much better written than even iv. Iv was okay but it’s like gta used to feel like it was genuinely written by dark comedians . It’s gotten a bit too consumed in being a movie vs past games movies but more humor to them
The social media mechanic again lowered my hype I don’t think it will be fun to kill someone than take a picture on phone and post to social media . Like there is not much they can do with it that interest me
Old f***s who cry about everything on KTT2 are not relevant lil bro
You think V story was that good . This is a billion dollar product that took 12 years to drop some will be disappointed. S*** avatar 2 people were disappointed. People don’t want more of the same . More than realistic graphics people want attention to detail npc ai reactions and unique things to do .
They would have been best off releasing another gta between now and 6 . Learn from it then 6. Red dead is many people favorite game of all time . Shooting mechanics always been a bit wonky
If gta online didn’t do so well people would only be so hyped for this . Online is why they delayed

I think 4 was a perfect blend of their dark cynical comedy and actual drama. The serious moments were serious but then it'd snap right back to the silliness.
I don't even know what GTA5 was trying to do. The tone of the story was all off. Trevor is a psycho Looney Tunes character that spends the whole game whining like a b**** to Michael for dumping him and I'm supposed to be invested in that for some reason

V still had housers too . I’m still shocked they wrote red dead 2 after that . Their heart wasn’t in it with V. Heist game mechanic was half baked too

4 is their best title by far
5 comes across like a saints row title at times
typo thats my bad
Gotcha! Well now it makes more sense... I mean if no delay happens of course.

This a fair take even if driving felt terrible at launch ( not sure if they updated). I only played iv and v at launch

Yeah feels like youre driving on ice. Only complaint I have about 4. It's my favorite GTA tho, totally. And I've put a ton of hours into the PS2 era ones.
I feel like some people look at IV with rose tinted glasses because of V's subpar plot, writing and characters
This is a game that's looked at as "underrated" - look at those review scores. It was the most successful entertainment product in history (not just video game) when it dropped. It's considered one of the best games of all time. The game gets its flowers and then some
I view it similar to RDR2 where everybody seems to overlook the game's blatant flaws. Coming off SA, IV clearly felt like Rockstar's first attempt at GTA on a new console. Customization options are stripped back, no tattoos, no car modifications, less girlfriends, no character stats, no jetpack, no planes, could you even cut Niko's hair? I remember playing IV and feeling disappointed, so much that was in SA was missing. And I remember gamers being hyped before V launch when they revealed those features would be coming back, it was missed in IV
I feel like there was a massive shift in the public reception of IV after V dropped. People weren't really calling IV the best in the series until after V dropped, before that it was largely seen as a step back from SA. Still an excellent game so I'm not too mad at it but it's definitely not the best in the series imo

V has superior gameplay. IV was successful when it came out but was considered a bit too dark, especially coming from the jetpack madness and combine harvester chaos in GTA San Andreas. There's a reason why the Gay Tony DLC is looked back at fondly. But I'll push back on the sentiments that IV is too dark and say that after the Fusion Fix mod that came for PC and restored missing items from the console versions, I can definitely see why some people love it. Amazing atmosphere.
GTa 4 made sense for the time, technology was advancing, we were in a post 9/11 world, mass surveillance, social media/internet culture was a thing and we were in an economic recession simultaneously.
The dark nature of iv was perfect for the time and might be one of the greatest pieces of media that captured the tone/essence of that time.
5 had potential but was horribly written imo
The fact that you can't even get those gloves in the game
I was just thinking that, apparently they were in the game files but disabled
I hope GTA 6 is actually more dark/serious. Still keep that signature silliness or absurdity but kinda write it like RDR2.

people just yearn to play as a slavic thug
