CRACKASTEPPAVEGANPlaying GTA IV. Can someone please explain how this is the "boring" GTA game. The radio stations are just as satirical, and sure, the story is darker, but it still contain some insane characters.
I feel like that game gets labeled as a lot of things just because of the darker color tones and more serious story than VC and SA
But it's on both sides though, I also feel like some people overrate the game because it's darker than the others. I'm sorry, but I can't agree with IV being the best GTA game with that limited customization and horrible driving

Coming off SA it felt like a step backwards from things you can do but I did enjoy IV at the time

But for now, there’s no indication that anything significant has changed. Even the original report is soft and full of caveats — which didn’t stop it from having a huge impact.
Last summer, I asked someone at Rockstar how things were going, and they responded with one word: “chaos.” This week, I asked a few other people at the company what they made of the rumor mill and was mostly met with shrugs. Of course development of the next Grand Theft Auto is falling behind. It always is.

Coming off SA it felt like a step backwards from things you can do but I did enjoy IV at the time
I think they had to play it safe due to the new console environment
They wanted to put planes and s*** in IV but made no sense given the size of the map
Then when V came out to due to the technical limitations of the new hardware of the X1/PS4 it made sense for them to push it

Then on December 1st 2023 at 9 am ET they will release an image of a pink and orange background with birds and palm trees with the rockstar logo saying "Trailer 1, December 5th, 9 am ET"
Then the day before the trailer drop the trailer gets leaked and forced rockstars hand to release it early.
Release window 2025
Then around march reports will come out production is falling behind and it will slip into late 2025 / 2026
Then During their investor call in may they will confirm the release window is now "Fall 2025"
then a whole ass year later in may 2025 they will say “May 26th, 2026” is the new release date
Then on May 6th 2025 at 9:30 AM ET trailer 2 will shadow drop on YouTube along with a new webpage showing new screenshots of the game
Then on November 11th 2025 at 4:05 PM ET they will announce another delay that will push the game to November 19th, 2026
