HaroldsChickenwhat do you think journalist getting to see the game in a secluded area for 2 hours flying them out with no hands on. While never showing the public a fraction of that gameplay is ?
I am saying reaching directly the fans and having a world of mouth from "I saw this in our city showing" can build hype. Same way journalist exclusive previews and screenshots and details has. People seeing the game running with their own eyes.
Even just showing gameplay in a theater doesnt have to limit it to exclusive.

it would literally sell out theaters even if they did showings all day for one day only
again there are completely normal people that dont know the release date of the game, how big it is , preload dates or much of that information still.
most of the people in for day one requsting off work all of that felt that way and planned for it even when the game was going to release in May lol .
