Makes sense in this setting though I suppose
RDR2 didn't have real automatic guns, so it could afford the immersive camera shake
GTA does
With that being said, I do wish at least the shotgun/pistol gameplay was more immersive
yea 100% its a creative decision that im sure team argued back and forth about for months. but at the end of the day, this is made for a way bigger audience and online play. I can't be mad that they're forgoing that level of immersion, but added so much to my personal rdr 2 experience without a cross hair its a shame
Yeah shooting doesn't look as good as RDR2, will stand firm on that part
My guess is that they might use the PS5 haptics more to make up for this
With all due respect idk why you’re making it seem like GTA has ever been a gameplay driven video game series with in depth mechanics and s*** like that
Rockstar is a sandbox maker. They’re good at making sandboxes but not that great at everything else. I think it’s unfair to the series to expect this much from it
All the major game systems are going to be pretty basic. There’s just a lot of stuff to do and a large, lively world around you to react to the things you do. That’s really all people want out of GTA. It’s a simple game
Finally watched
you gotta be desperately seeking attention to say this s*** is that good

Was just about to say, I actually can't picture RDR2's shooting with fully automatic rifles. Like there needs to be less weight to the shooting for guns like that to feel natural

RDR2 is hard to compare anything to
They could make 3 or 4 more games and it not be as perfect as RDR2
Although I understand that this one should be a step up. But they are juggling an ocean of additional mechanics that they weren't in RDR2
yeah he wins
His mama sent him on that hit
From now on when a nigga call something mid games music anything they gonna have to start naming what’s the top then
Mid means middle which means plenty of things should outperform or outrank it in demonstrable ways
If a nigga can’t tell me what’s top he a troll pure and simple
Airhead over here is pretty heated.
He did not like that s*** at all.
Mid
the little they're showing us, it seems like they really are invested in justifying the two protagonists being in a relationship. im really excited to see the story they're willing to tell. I hope they take risks, because rdr2 was such a beautiful front to back story.
really believe in their ability to make this a classic story
A car ran over a puddle at 90+ mph and literally no water broke, no droplets, wtf bro there’s no way this is hitting 60 fps man
lol puddle is what broke it for you
if wanderlust is int his soundtrack, this is easily soundtrack of life
Alr confirmed

They are trying to avoid showing more that could validate the shirt we saw in the leaks being accurate.
A sloppy move in my opinion like just own that s***. Be honest with the consumer it's just the internet you don't gotta be scared.

Haven’t finished about to in car before gym lol
Who is everyone’s favorite or least favorite protagonist in the previous GTA games ?

i think it will be their greatest story they’ve ever written. with how everything is settling up it has to be

I get this argument when talking about how linear missions can be, but the shooting mechanics are important in a gta game. this is kind of a wack argument and I think downplaying how serious the developers are.
I don't think they come into it just like "lets build a sandbox where people d*** around in it". they legit want to define the frontier of video games, including gameplay. critiquing gunplay is not outside the fair scope of discussion for a game so dependent on gunplay lol

When I talk about this stuff it's about immersion, not necessarily gameplay
