scoopthere seems to be a big narrative now that people expected gta6 to be the second coming of christ when in actuality all it is is just another GTA. while i do think there is an element of truth to that, i think it underplays the fact that most people were expecting improvements like more enterable interiors, better AI and police interactions, a denser world etc.
the leaks lowkey might work in rockstars favour if this stuff is actually in the game, because after the leaks i don’t think as much people expect that now.

I think since the hype is so high, people subconsciously know it won't live up to it and will actually be surprised when it comes through

Saw someone on reddit say how the leaks gave them clarity again how this isn't the 2nd coming of Christ and that it's just another GTA lol. Well no s***, but hey it's still exciting. But anyway that is a very fair statement tbh.
The thing is, when they market the game like probably starting with that Netflix s***, it's going to show probably fancier camera angles, maybe some action packed missions and it's going to be portrayed way better than these leaks and will probably have that revolutionary look many are expecting from this. We'll see I suppose.

We haven’t seen character swapping, and open world activities, extensiveness of character customization, random events in the open world, TV, movies, the in game internet and social media apps, and not much in the way of combat and enemy AI.
We’ve seen the most basic of basic s*** so far in probably the most unflattering way possible.
And all of it has been from an old build.

I really can't wait to see more cutscenes after that short one that leaked that looked impressive as hell. But don't get how impressive it is for an open world game to have this sort of fidelity
