He probably has him waking up at the house. Driving around causing mayhem. And maybe that c mission. All seems like one extended play spliced up

About what? I’m genuinely confused at what you guys think would qualify as a major disruption to the video game industry if not this. If this wasn’t disruptive it would happen all the time. It doesn’t happen often bc the industry has so many protections to avoid this. In GTA’s case you’d assume it would have the UPMOST protection— acknowledging the money and history it has already. So the protections were bypassed. Any bypass will be addressed and measures will be put in place to avoid it happening again. If pivoting back to include physical means it won’t happen again for this reason, I don’t see why it wouldn’t be on the table in the next meeting they have.

I’ve made no claim other than Rockstar and Sony will have to answer to their shareholders, Netflix, and anyone else they’re actively in business with. I have no idea what their answer will be. But to assume that pivoting back to physical is not on the table right now is extremely naive when you look at the scope of the industry. XBOX is already double downing on physical. Not sure why anyone believes the digital only business model is already set in stone when we aren’t even in that era quite yet. This is what you do if you want to try to avoid that.
