It’s fair to be excited for the game while Recongnizing a game delayed 18 months . That was announced 3 years ago . Been in development for 10-13 taking this long to be upfront about its features and gameplays is absurd . Having preorder bonuses be one of the concrete ways we hear about gameplay features through a 100$ edition . S*** if they had said 80 for main game and 20$ more with gta online that was more expected than cosmetic stuff for main game . Either way it’s fine to be nuanced enough to recognize any property that cost a billi not dropping a single trailer in motion for multiple years . While unions form and people leave the company will face more scrutiny than an Zelda remake man

Same way max Payne remake we know it’s coming .0 previews out for this . Duskbloods in a similar spot but network test coming . It’s okay to believe and trust in rockstar while also not being ridiculous

This isn’t really a cyberpunk situation because cyberpunk was using pc to show footage and it passing cert shouldn’t have even been legal

GTA VI hasn’t been in development 10-13 years, it started after RDR2, all hands were on deck with that game.

Also fair 7-9 years of all hands on deck is still sizable . I get it though I think previewing , showing gameplay too early , pumping out trailers would do it a disservice . Think they feel a month delayed though . Like Netflix extended July 26th . Then previews from journalist . I am going to hate journalist and streamers getting game first and filtering their impressions . Wish people could go in person in major cities to try it or something .

People comparing things to the incomparable when it cant be compared to cyperpunk, zelda or even previous rockstar releases. Because this is very different. I can trust them enough to drop a good game while also saying it may not be the coming of christ at launch and thats okay

It may not be 60fps 4k and that is okay. It may not serve both the life sim players and the fun players and that is okay. May be on rails. Thats okay

Its okay to recognize at the end of the day things cant be perfect but they will be enjoyable

I have explained multiple times that the PRO CPU is nearly identical to the PS5 and that kind of determines the framerate best. PSSR AI will help it some but not enough to double the frame rate . Locked 30 would be great news. People should be there for new engine , graphic fidelity and gameplay mechanics more than arguing framrerate. Even then graphics come at a cost

Its going to be a dope game but I am ready to see what differentiates it from GTA V which was in many ways disappointing for me. ( I am glad others loved it)

Fully agree. GTA V was a pivotal moment from the franchise in most ways but it is not my favorite as well. Still arguably one of the best games ever released lol. Even with that im glad a lot of ppl like you and I can recognize its shortcomings and where we want improvements built
