I do think the primary RDR2 influence will be that everything will feel more deliberate and have greater weight to it, but the setting alone is gonna lead to a much faster pace and different feel.
But people will still be reactionary as hell, annoyingly so because they’ll refuse to meet the game on its own terms.

Yes, I’m sure they UI was deliberately weighty to the point that people kept shooting their horses by mistake. Red Dead 2 is very clunky; I doubt GTA VI will be, though.

Folks have this thing of going "This gameplay doesn't meet my preferences, therefore, gameplay bad" lol. Not that there aren't any valid arguments to be made about balancing realism with fun of course. But if I'm playing kingdom come deliverance I better know what time it is.
