If they are focusing on everyone who’s chronically online, rockstar would continue marketing throughout summer.
If they are aligning their marketing to fit the usual summer routines of people, then their focus is on people who are not chronically online.
"Chronically online" doesn't apply to GTA. IV was already one of the most financially successful entertainment products of all time almost 20 years ago, V was exponentially bigger. How many people need marketing to be made aware of/convinced to buy the much anticipated sequel after 13 years?
