That graphical fidelity with that much to do in a game I get that you guys think Rockstar are wizards but GTA V had performance issues at launch as in wasnt 60fps as did previous games. There was no reason to expect 60fps at launch from a game where you havent seen gameplay with a year and a half delay. Yes they usually wait til final 2 months but with something that looks this good unless there are many graphical options to lower on console it stood no chance of 60fps

People got so consumed with "I am playing on ps5 or ps5 pro I am getting 60fps" When the CPU is the main limiter of all and Xbox Series X technichally has a better CPU so its going to come down to Pro PSSR and AI upscaling which even then cant do that large of a leap.

I remember gta v online on ps3 & even Xbox one being like 12-15fps at high speeds driving thru downtown lol

I think people set unrealistic ideas with how we know the graphics look. Locked 30 would be great news even though the internet with throw a fit it would be great news. People wanting to see it running on their respective console to be sure it matches up with what has been shown so far is expected . Because even those that love rockstar can see that it will be tough on older hardware. Even with a new engine. Some attention to detail and graphic fidelity feels like it may not be worth a framerate that may affect gameplay

Personally I don't have a problem if video games stayed at PS4 level graphics forever. Everything above is just a nice bonus

Think the goal should be 60fps as base then if you want higher graphics modes then locked 30fps but its playable either way to me.

really depends on if this is a true locked 30 or not. i think regardless they'll make it look seamless to make up for it but i can't imagine what vrr would perform like with the amount of s*** in this game
