first listen. I walked into this album thinking of songs like In Case You Forgot and Dean Martin Steaks. completely subverted those expectations and the production on this album is very interesting and not at all what I expected from a roc and alc album. this demands a lotta relistens

just like with haram, this is alc stepping into roc's world instead of his typical alc records collabs
there are multiple times in the album it feels like a callback to his previous work, especially reloaded
it's crazy how all of his albums feel like continuations of the last one in terms of sonics and structures,
mt marci was him at his peak, now the alc s*** is just god mode

you put it way better than I could have. this is alc in roc's world, not the other way around, just like on haram. these two are definitely not typical alc projects. gonna take some time to appreciate because I definitely had my own expectations that I was projecting
