Errol Holden album is a masterpiece.

Yeah bro, like how are you going to create buzz with 8 projects out at the same time?
Growing organically is tough if new listeners have to go through that many projects, instead of a debut EP and/or LP. Think he could have just let things marinate after the Roc project and just do features with big names for the rest of the year

Very logical and I agree. There seems to be a contingent of people that think the Boldy / Fahim route is viable though

Man, I agree with this a thousand percent. I lose interest in an artist when they keep dropping left and right. I've listened to everything Holden dropped, and it's all quality material, but it's overwhelming and starts to all meld together in my brain. I like to sit with a project, and with so many great titles dropping in the past year, I just don't have the time to listen to and get excited about artists who are constantly releasing new stuff. It's like going to a restaurant that takes your plate while you're still enjoying it and replaces it with another entree and keeps repeating this over and over. I appreciate the work ethic, but damn, let me savor this and save some room for dessert!
The ink embroidered
Black exploited, crackers bought it
Crack was boiling, niggas balling, clientele calling
My Excel fishtail like a dolphin,
Instead of talking, money's corporate,
Progress forward, bunnies is gorgeous
Easily although Roc doesn’t beef or do freestyles

I don't think anybody produces for Roc better than Roc. I love his stuff with Alc and his old stuff produced by Pete Rock is insane, but I just think he really knows how to make music to fit his vision better than anyone. There are others who did great production for him over the years too, but as a producer I think he's underrated. That's only because of how nice he is on the mic though.
