    Renters policies typically cover theft of items away when away from home, I’m not sure with electronic scooters/bikes though. If u have the policy I would check the exclusions section and see if they list them

    I wasn’t expecting anyone to steal it. Like this a huge construction area, a lot of cars and people walking. I think it was one of the construction guys.

    ??? Not sure why you’re calling me dumb for getting a kryptinite lock or questioning people passing by my scooter? I’m being honest. Like this area isn’t some sort of pedestrian area, there’s only university students and staff working and passing by. It’s literally between building's for classes. Sure it could have been anyone but I was scoped out by whoever stole it.

    I’m only questioning the construction guys since they were staring at me and always looking. Plus they were always friendly so I never thought they were lining me up but I tried to stay alert and I slipped. If I’m dumb then all the other students are dumber than me because they have even weaker locks.

    Hopefully you kept a record of purchase, and depending on if your insurance company needs the make/model for the scooter for their records just check into those exclusions and you might be gucci
