FKA herself hates her music being labelled as RnB and she says its actually racist, you have it completely wrong
I don't care what she thinks, it's racist to not claim rnb when you make rnb influenced music
Lorde and FKA are both rnb
whenever anyone starts innovating they want to assign it another genre, I find it racist asf
There’s a discussion to be had here but I’d just say that it’s also racist how every black singer-songwriter gets automatically labeled R&b regardless of what type of music they’re making, as if they couldn’t possibly make any other genre by default
Both can be true in different circumstances and I think it’s a highly nuanced and relative topic

Post one of her songs that you think clearly displays this influence?
Like fr, name an R&B song that sounds similar to or I'm gonna have to assume I'm being trolled
