The fight choreography was kinda ass here

I remember thinking that she accidentally killed chewie for a second and i was about to walk the f*** out

The choreography was meh I'm moreso talking about the overall aesthetic of the scene. It was awesome and far better than any fight scene in either the first or last film

At this point it makes no sense

Compare the body count of this compared to TLJ where the first order wipes out most of the resistance and the only notable death in this movie is an already dead person.

1. Chewbacca dies
“Lol jk it was actually a different ship”

2. C-3PO memory wipe
“Lol jk R2 can back everything up”

3. Kylo gets stabbed through the stomach
“lol jk Rey has magical healing powers”

4. Rey dies
“Lol jk now Kylo has those powers too!”

Just way too many of those moments lmao, I’m sure I’m missing some

Yeah embarrassing about how unnatural it all felt. It was like the weakest way you could have wrote off a character

Man this was just so bad. They never explained how the Emperor came back at all. The Sith temple and cult were the coolest part of the movie but they were completely unexplained and underutilized. There’s no character development in the whole trilogy for any character. The memory of Han instantly changes Kylo from good to bad with no buildup. Kylo saves Rey and dies with a kiss like this s*** was Snow White or something. The whole climax and aftermath was a retread of Return of the Jedi. This movie made the whole trilogy completely pointless. All it accomplished was killing off all of the interesting characters.

The plot was going okay (the deus ex machina scavenger hunts were weak but forgivable) until the scene with Han/Kylo. After that everything just got stupid.

Being real rn. If they didn’t p**** out and kept every death or memory wipe aside from Kylo’s original death (he should have been dead when the emperor threw him down) then this movie would have been slightly better

im only three episodes in so haven’t gotten there yet, love that lil nigga though. so damn cute

1st act was like a bad EU novel
2nd act was like the actual continuation of TLJ
3rd act was just bad
