OT remains supreme That’s the wild part as far as technology writing effects and stunt doubles have come and they still clinging to skywalkers and old characters. When they have the entire galaxy. They could make up new characters , races , aliens , planets force powers yet they stagnated . This trilogy like dragon ball super or fan fiction because Disney milked the same cow til pus turned to blood

honestly all they had to do was create a narrative that wasn’t a direct continuation of the OT characters (something impossible to please everyone with) & they would’ve been fine. Mandalorian is generally liked because it’s exploring an aspect of the universe that the audience is not connected to emotionally, yet still familiar with enough to be invested
