I would've been fine with Chewie going into berserk mode and murking every Stormtrooper/First Order soldier in sight than that Hux face turn scene.
they completely failed kylo.
jj abrams did really poorly with this movie
deadass ruined the best character of the trilogy
I threw my hands up on that one.
Hux was damn near the Pence to Kylo's Trump and they gave zero depth for his face turn.
idk it seemed to me that hux was loyal only to snoke and never seemed comfortable with kylo taking control
laughed my ass off when a million ships suddenly just show up
this s*** is a michael bay movie
Hux did all of that s*** just for Kylo to turn to the light side.
Just a unnecessary plot device on all cylinders.

Hux face turn?
ngl, i kinda wish chewie died when rey blew that ship up. that was the hardest scene of the movie and the fact that chewie survived kinda took away from how crazy it was
Keri Russell's character and that Bubba thing deserve a spin off...was pretty meh on the rest of this...some funny moments and nice nods to past moments but the story felt pretty thrown together...pretty much as soon as Luke showed up it felt like it started going downhill and things just got a little too hokey and silly...action scenes were too scattered or edited weirdly to where it was hard to focus on individual moments idk
I didn't hate it but I didn't leave the theater feeling like I just saw the epic conclusion of a Star Wars trilogy either
whole theater moaned when rey kissed kylo
some b**** screamed "yes!"

They've never liked each other and were always kind of trying to one up the other so I didn't need a huge explanation for him turning but it did feel kinda rushed and more of just an LOL moment than a significant plot point
& they abused the f*** out of a classic soundtrack
every 5 minutes they’re playing the most nostalgic part, usually reserved for actual enlightened moments

Hard agree
Was so impactful
wish we actually got the characters being people for the first hour instead of JJ not knowing how to handle Rian johnsons movie
literally EVERY line of dialogue for the first half was setting up what he wanted instead and trying to erase the previous movie. what a s***ty good bye to one of the best core of characters star wars has had

RT. The the force lightening reveal then seeing him "die" was genuinely shocking.
