I feel like the Last Jedi completely f***ed up this trilogy. Looks like JJ Abrams was trying to fit two movies in one. Shame that it happened - I would like to see Kylo roam around the Sith area for longer and go through different challenges.

Rey being a Palpatine is lazy and uncreative. Same as the appearance from the emperor himself - but it's understandable, they kinda did it to themselves in last Jedi by killing Snoke and Luke. I get it why the movie ended up being like this. If Rian didn't f*** up TLJ we could have gotten a satisfying trilogy.

Abrams felt like he needed to explain Rey's backgrounds, and for this to have a meaning(her being Palpatine), had to bring the emperor. What other parents could she had that would wow the audience?

I have to say that it was better than Last Jedi. It is a s*** movie when you are a Star Wars fan, knows the books etc. because you can compare it to the new movie, and the story in the movie is not in the same league.

I had fun tho, I didn't have expectations, I was prepared to see a Star Wars comedy movie and I laughed out loud couple of times.

When Kylo said she is Palpatine, when they kissed when she cut the wing of star fighter with that flip. How she killed Palpatine, It was hilarious.

Y’all can’t keep putting the blame on TLJ for writing choices that JJ and Terrio made. There was an opportunity not to hang onto nostalgia but they still decided to go for the easy route.
