This sucked less than I thought it would, and a few moments even got to me a lil. I loved the scene with Kylo and Han, and Rey blowing up that ship with force lightning got my heart rate up a bit. Too bad nothing matters in JJ movies and Chewy was totally fine like 5 minutes later.

Anyway, most of the movie felt rote and dull but the good stuff got me through it. Easily my least favorite of the trilogy because it was so watered down, but it's not as awful as I was expecting.

Rian tried to do something different with his fans and the fans flipped their s*** and now we’re at a ret con filled safe as s*** finale that plays out like a fanfic

I really don’t understand why Rey couldn’t have just been a nobody, makes her character way more interesting than an extremely forced relation to someone else from a previous film who’s appearance in itself feels forced
