The biggest issue with this trilgy ends up being them too p**** to kill off major good characters. The reason force awakens works is That they were willing to have han die. Leia and finn shouldve died in TLJ. The way luke died too was hella lame. Rey clearly shouldve died at the end of this. She was literally dead. Frustrating.

Leia was easily the worst part of this movie. All her lines felt like those bears that u squeeze and they spit out a line. Why her marry poppins ass didnt just die in tlj will forever haunt me

I mean Carrie Fisher died after TLJ finished filming. Would've been mad disrespectful to go back and kill off her character just because she died irl

Her being the key to kylo's redemption was one of the few good things about this movie

It would've been disastrous even if Carrie was still alive. There'd be riots if you killed Luke and Leia off in the same movie without them appearing together once on screen. Plus 9 was supposed to be her movie, Han got 7, Luke got 8, 9 was supposed to be hers.

the last jedi feels like it spits in the face of the force awakens then this movie does the same to the last jedi, it's poetry really

Finn being force sensitive should've been hinted at throughout Ep 8 and paid off at the turning point of the final battle in Ep 9 on sum Rey getting the lightsaber in TFA or Cap getting Mjolnir s***
