Should the trilogy have been more cohesive overall? Definitely, but I don’t know why y’all insist they needed to have some great master plan years in advance in order to make it work. You don’t need to have planned out a movie 5 years in advance in order to tell a good story with it, that is not why this movie has its problems

the OT sure as s*** wasn’t planned out, and neither are the large majority of trilogies/franchises. the only franchise that I can think of that actually does that is the MCU, and yall always complain about those movies feeling like they come off an assembly line so idk why yall then turn around and demand that Star Wars take that same approach
