the counterspark timing was weird as hell at first
It’s f***ing lame to get used to

Not as cooked as your brain if you are buying games off review scores

Have you played the game?
Not as cooked as your brain if you are buying games off review scores
I never buy games just strictly off of review scores. If a game sparks my interest, I always read multiple reviews or watch videos before coming to a conclusion as to whether or not I should buy it
I've read/watched reviews for this game and can objectively say that every type of criticism it got thrown its way was valid and justified.
But if you're satisfied paying 70 dollars for a glorified 7/10 Assassin's Creed type game set in Japan, good for you I guess

Lmao & all of these are 9-10/10 games to you? Your taste isn't all that great or anything special.
I'm sure you conveniently left out some straight trash too.

You're fine with Nioh 2 but Rise of the Ronin, which is open world Nioh, is too far?

Not all of them are 9s or 10s to me, a lot of 8s in there as well
There's only a few of them which I could truly crown 10/10
Assassin's Creed 2
Batman Arkham City
DMC 5
Elden Ring
God of War
Hades
MGS5: Phantom Pain
Resident Evil 4 Remake
Sekiro
Splinter Cell Chaos Theory
Only game I could argue on that list that is probably mid is Bomb Rush Cyberfunk. But that's a fan service game I bought because of how much I loved the Jet Set Radio games back in the day. Those are 100% the games in my Steam library, I didn't leave nothing out, I only buy great games bruh. I tend to vote with my wallet nowadays when I buy games given how depressing the state of the gaming industry is nowadays
You're fine with Nioh 2 but Rise of the Ronin, which is open world Nioh, is too far?
The Nioh games aren't open world tho, they are mission based levels for the most part

What's the issue here then, do you think they shouldn't have gone open world?

The issue isn't Team Ninja creating an open world game, the issue is that they made an open world game that feels severely outdated and didn't break any new ground with it while also pricing it at 70 freaking dollars smh
