RIP to Virgil man. Thinking back to early high school when #BEEN #TRILL and Pyrex were super popular and I had no one in my small town to talk to about that s*** or who would understand it. My only connection to that world was through ig. I didn't even know who Virgil was at that point but I already had formed a connection his work.

Not really sure what the point I'm trying to make is but Virgil was a huge part of my introduction into the culture and I wasn't even aware of the impact it was having on me. My taste, my knowledge of fashion history, brands, designers and my overall view of design as a whole can essentially be traced back to, in part, my discovery of his early work as it was jump off point for me.

Not gonna pretend like I was a huge Virgil stan but undoubtedly his work left a huge impact on me and millions of other people.
