The cost of traveling is still down right now since COVID started and those shoes will only go up. It just depends on how attached you are but those are a priceless piece of history in my opinion
you could keep the shoes and slowly save up to do both unless you're in a hurryIf you do sell them I hope you make the most of the trip and at 10k hopefully they will go to another fellow collector that appreciates them like you did
