I never owned his clothes and wasn’t a huge follower of his work, and I’ll let people who know more decide what they think about his legacy, but this is how I see it. It’s tragic to see a young black man at the top of his game pass on.

Regardless of how you felt about his work, his vision made an impact that shifted the Fashion, Music, and Art world. I’m sure other industries too.

On top of that he gave a blueprint to kids to have a creative outlet, get some money, learn business skills, and work alongside others to build something.

That will echo be felt for a very long time.
