Yeah It thought about changing that part after I posted considering religion isn't even really the reason but doesn't change my overall message. Though I wouldn't put it past you feeling comfortable with israeli children dying. Along with quite a few other people in here, actually
lmao look at you coming up with some batshit insane s*** to try and get some take off.
Basically, there were farmers in India protesting a piece of legislation that affected them
A lot of the west is very anti-Modi and wants to remove him but india loves him because he's a nationalist
So suddenly all these celebrities and public figures start tweeting about what a bad leader Modi is, including Rihanna and Greta Thunberg, with the intent of causing unrest in India
A day later Greta Thunberg accidentally leaks a "toolkit" that shows her tweets were all essentially ghostwritten and paid for
EDIT: I don't support modi but i don't think famous Americans tweeting is doing anything substantial but make india look bad
I was aware of what happened with the farmers but it was under my impression that she was supporting them. Though I wasn't aware of the other details. It was surprising the extent of support they got from celebrities though
Exactly, it's hypocritical and tiresome. Why should we gaf what Rihanna say either way
we shouldn't, and don't get me wrong, there are social issues where celebrities can use their platform and reach to inspire positive change, but this is so far removed from one of those instances.
You sound like a boot licker, let’s be honest, if their filth of parents never put them in this situation maybe I would be more sympathetic
Dude sounds like he doesn’t even know what’s going on over there whatsoever. Don’t waste your breath

I only knew about this cuz of conspiracy sites
Oh no! 3 Israeli kids died! Guess were gonna forget about the thousands of children dead by Israeli terrorists, let’s be real, more kids die by Lions in Africa than Israeli kids die by Hamas rockets.
first of all its f*** israel and I don't agree with that dude
but what youre saying makes zero sense
by that logic who cares about any of this because 500k people died to COVID? acknowledging that an innocent child died, to me personally, isnt absolving israel or anything. its just a basic show of decency or whatever you want to call it
the way I see it any innocent death is a terrible thing but when it comes time to point fingers I direct them at israel
I agree with you. And I think she probably shouldn't have said anything at all or changed her narrative with this. Doesn't change the fact that children dying in war is despicable. They do not deserve to die
it’s not a war over religion. many Jewish people support Palestine in this. this is a literal ethnic cleansing.
Why would America (not Americans) be against this? I don’t see why they would be considering how it’s plundered and taken from the defenseless

That's fair I agree I edited it

But that’s literally people organizing and striking. Something the “elites” would hate if it happened in the US.
It’s could be argued that the media blocking out the strike (which was one of the largest labor strikes of all time) is the “elites” manufacturing consent so people don’t get any ideas of doing it over here.
Wouldn’t it just be easier to just get the media to report on it than a few celebrities to tweet about it if the “elites” wanted to stick it to modi as you say?
Why would America (not Americans) be against this? I don’t see why they would be considering how it’s plundered and taken from the defenseless
i mean America is also a settler and imperialist state so I feel like theres some kind of social/psychological affinity to Israel
i.e. a lot of pro-Israel arguments will resound with people who were already convinced of things like military intervention in ME
plus people just toeing party lines (Biden and Trump are both either both sides-ing or actively supporting Israel)
She didn't pick a side. Only said she's sad at what's happening.
There’s no side to pick. Israel is Clearly the aggressor and failing to acknowledge that and choosing to play the fence is stupid.

Greta a fraud???

"If you are neutral in situations of injustice, you have chosen the side of the oppressor."

Her tweets were what?
"If you are neutral in situations of injustice, you have chosen the side of the oppressor."

“remaining neutral is essentially siding with the aggressor”

beat me to it with the right wording too

Which exactly why I think they’re not really doing much about it vtge probably think hey if they just leave problem solved
