    A centrist you say?

Yeah, that's exactly what "hey listen we should all settle down and have a nice chat and come to an amicable solution on this genocide!" makes you. A centrist.

nigga. You asked me a general question now you adding new s*** to your question.

    But even with all this.

Once again, laughs in Native American and African American

No, that's literally what a pogrom is, look at the Wikipedia article about it lol

Yes, Natives and African Americans have had it terrible, but you can't compare the treatment of palestinians to what is happening in america NOW.

I have not stated my position on the conflict, not sure where you are making that inference from.

Now I have acknowledged the power imbalance and length of it, which is what leads me to believe that reaching a middle ground is a far more likely outcome than Palestine getting everything it wants.

You can choose to disagree with that but historically it isn’t looking good.

I'm curious what people think the practical solution to this conflict might really be. Like I'm genuinely curious. I don't even mean a solution that is good for everyone or whatever. If you're Free Palestine, how does that happen?

Go back to 1967 boarders and make Palestine a free state?

Israel just has to accept that Palestine is allowed to exist. It's that simple but it won't happen

simple, you give the Palestinians the right of return and you guarantee full political, social and economic equality within the region. as for the zionists, they can go back to where they came, or be free to live on whatever land is left in a completely free and equal Palestinian state. whatever the Palestenians decide.

Believing that there is any middle ground to be reached here when Israeli officials have already said they're not stopping until Palestine is dust is ignorance. Either the world community stops Israel or Palestine and its people are going to die. Those are the two options. Continuing to speak about "finding a middle ground" is an aid to the genocide. You figure out which side you wanna be on when you wake the f*** up and understand that there isn't a middle ground and that the two options are a) genocide or b) world stops Israel.

There isnt a practical solution. All the land going back to palestine is the only real solution

So the world needs to basically unite and tell Israel to stand down?

might be pretty contrersial but at this point idk if it can be done without western intervention

IMO return to old borders (67), fiscal, infrastructural reparaations and it as part of the school system

western military presence or greater funding to palestinian national army to ensure that militia groups dont take power

  • emocean

Right, so in the likely case that Israel refuses, what do you think should happen?

What should happen is that other nations around the world see how f***ed up this is and step in to remove Israel from Palestine. It's that simple but it won't happen.

I imagine the fact that Hamas has broken the last 5 truces is why they are reluctant to accept the ceasefire at this point. Continuing on the current path has done…well nothing aside from getting buildings leveled.

Continuing to do the same thing over and over is the def….well you know the quote.

In any case, my Kobe beef sub sandwich finally got here so peace out
