Yeah at that age I think I could have used the responsibility of a job. Would have taught me better money handling at an earlier age.

My first job was at Dairy Queen and one day when we got out checks, which were basically just personal checks with our hours and taxes hand written on a stub, I noticed some of the other kids were being “taxed” at a higher rate than I was.
So we all started stealing s*** cuz they were stealing from the workers and eventually all quit
Then the IRS investigated them and the owners had to sell
