That was pretty good. Found myself laughing at a lot of the jokes. The new voices weren't that distracting either. I'm just confused on how all these characters are alive, thought they all died unless I'm tripping

Yeah... the new voices were definitely distracting to me. Rick felt like he was getting better by the end of the episode, idk if that's just because I was getting used to it or if the VA got better as he was delivering more lines. Haven't heard enough Morty yet to make a final judgment, but he sounded okay

So the voices might end up being tolerable, but I still stand on it being impossible to really replace Roiland's performances in all these characters. The episode was entertaining enough to keep me watching, though

I was thinking about that for a little bit, but I don't actually think the remaining non-Roiland characters would've been enough to keep me engaged. Their relation to and interactions with Rick / Morty are what glued everything together

think i'm gonna skip. first 6 seasons were all great i want to keep my memory of the show that way

The new voices sound really good for a few words at a time... and then they deviate from the original and it's just pretty jarring to me. I'm very perceptive of voice actors though, a lot of people might be totally fine with the changes

First ep was a total snoozer

Noticing the lack of burps from Rick kinda took me out ngl

I read somewhere before Roiland left that they decided to do that less so it’s been like that for a couple seasons now

Thought the bit about fading pills was great and ricks voice seemed to blend perfectly by the end and not stand out at all

Seen people mentioning the burp thing but I’m pretty sure they haven’t done that since season 3 anyway
