Also as a society especially in the past 3 years we have made it so incredibly normalized and appropriate to speak out about men in power abusing that power. So the "now they feel comfortable" thing for cringe dms that, if they were a regular Andy, wouldn't even make a blip, I feel is a distraction/clouty exercise

She said she was so scared of dude retaliating that she waited until he died to come forward; he would visit her every now and then to threaten here and even when he stopped, the fear of his visits were looming over her

I just think it's more complicated than opportunity sometimes

You TRULY think with the dms that have been exposed that these women are holding on to their biggest trump card just waiting for the opportunity to come out with a story like "yeah so after he sent me cringe dms I gave him my address and THEN he was rough/terrible with me"?

Of course we don't know what goes on. But all we have is a court case with very little detail, and two women who said he was inappropriate in DMs while admitting that he was drunk during them.

As an audience to this event we also have an amount of power we wield. A part of that includes fanning the flames of stories like this. I'm saying let's stick to what we know to be undisputed fact for now and treat it appropriately

I brought up the original story because a lot of people did not believe her. They also asked her Why wait?
Now when I view these cases from a spectator's point of view, I simply think We don't and may never know the full picture

My main issue was the women who have come forward with only dms and nothing else (typically you play your best card/hand/what have you first) are imo very very clout sharky. And I know for a fact that one of those women (not the 16 yr old) is a big virtue signaler and only speaks when it benefits her. So if I'm applying the same sort of charitablity to the women I also should apply an even amount of skepticism until more is known. But ppl foaming at the mouth over the messages as if that is in ANY way more damming than the initial claim that was made in a court of law are absolutely insane and should be ignored.
