i’m at the end of Village and i low key feel like this game tries to do too much lol. similar to 5. like it’s dope, but i don’t think it comes close to the greatness of 7.

Incredible build up to that cause after the doll took your guns and you were just busy focusing on the puzzle saying you bout to kill that ugly ass doll when you get free then the mia doll disappears and you following this umbilical cord and follow it, then you hear crying and something slouching towards you then you see it, and you don’t have none of you guns :damn:

Tried the demo. Was geniunely shocked by how much the atmosphere didnt live up to even RE7's standards. Idk if it's a consistent issue throughout the entire game but I'm really not impressed with the demo in this regard.

Some of the writing was really clumsy as well. Overall it did nothing for me to sell me on the game.

I think Capcom actually said that they wanted to make the game less scary then 7 so it would be more accessible from an action game standpoint (kinda like RE4). Also there are definitely parts of this game that are terrifying & full of atmosphere, it's actually one of the better aspects of the game imo.

That's unfortunate because the first person camera angle inheretingly is less than ideal for action on par with RE4 (a perfect 10 from me).

I agree but I think the fps pov change with the last few games has been a cool change & shake up for the series.

Village of shadows is ridiculous different enemies in areas you don’t expect em and everything so aggressive and one hit gets you red

it’s basically only possible by doing ng+ and spending all ur money on the infinite ammo s***

there are speed runners beating it on a new save no cheats in 2 hours

just got to the factory 17 hours in lol

I got every treasure so I’m rich as f***

there’s new guns too

Getting SS on every stage in mercenaries isn’t gonna be possible
