yeah, they started a new trilogy with 7, and 8 continues the “Ethan Winters story”.

so ideally you would play 7 before this one, but before you start 8 it asks if you want a recap of 7 so you can just do that if you want.

You can juke them, lure them to an open spot, make space then run when it’s clear.

Or you could shoot them in the leg to stun them so you could walk past. On normal difficulty ammo isn’t that scarce
