It’s wild, I had no tangible interest in this game until I saw Lady Dimitrescu and the daughters. After playing the demo, the ambiance of the castle with the vampire themes makes it an instant buy
Why am I playing this with no lights on whatsoever, gonna regret this
The tall ass mannequin with the big ass white dress near the stairs is unsettling for some reason
Really hope this game is more consistent than 7. The house was by far the highlight of the entire game, with every subsequent area being worse and worse (and the mines especially were just bad).
At the very least they’ve appeared to address the enemy variety issue, no more slime monsters.

na just because they couldn’t live up to the house doesn’t mean any of those areas were bad
the mines were rly just meant to be a path to the finale lol no point in complaining about something that was obviously for ambience, not gameplay. gave me real It vibes
Wow RIP......
Before the game drops too

Nah he’s not wrong. The mines are definitely the weakest area of the game. But that’s not so much a RE7 problem, it’s more so a series problem. The first area is usually the best designed aesthetically and gameplay wise. The RPD, Downtown Raccoon City, the Village, etc.
And he wasn’t saying all the areas after were bad, just not as tightly designed like the first
Playing RE Remake for the first time and absolutely loving it
Mansion gameplay is perfect game design
