done with my first playthrough in modern classic, took me 10h. will do an insanity run in the near future, but Im kinda disappointed in this game tbh.

even when not accounting for the shortness of the game (80€ for this im still f\*\*\*in hurt), there are still some glaringly apparent issues, especially in the second section. the return to raccoon city, as some of y'all said, is very lackluster. didn't see the point of returning to the RPD especially when it lasts 15min. I appreciated the big zone before actually entering raccoon city, cuz it reminded me of RE4 tho. the ARK as a whole didn't make me feel much, except for the Grace segment.

I think I'll always look for the thrill of either RE4 or RE7 hence why I always end up kinda disappointed with these new games

Absolutely doable. Didnt find it fun tho so I unlocked infinite ammo and blasted everything with the Requiem. Now that was fun

Maybe one day I'll do a slow Insanity run when I have more patience. For now I'm just enjoying goofing around.

How hard is it to finish under 4 hours? I want unlimited ammo…

On Casual I did the 4 hour no heals/no blood collector run in like 3:50ish. It wasn't hard and I did it mostly blind. With a proper guide I could have easily shaved off like 20+ minutes.

Do you just have to run by most zombies?

Yeah I skipped most of them. The ones that I did have to kill died in like 2 or 3 headshots. They also stagger/fall super easily. It's a really laid back run.

Game is great, easily a top 5 RE and the best since 4, but damn, I wonder what’s up with the level of hype this one is generating.

It permeated the current pop culture in a way that few games do. I have friends that have never played RE telling me they've seen nothing but Leon and Grace memes in their feed for days. Game's not perfect but it's still a f***ing amazing experience.

when i first beat the game i picked the destroy elpis option not realizing it was the bad ending

when you pick that ending itll play the scene out until the end but post credits itll give you the option to run it back to pick the good ending
