yeah it's like I imagine they could make something incredible out of it, the visuals and the tone would be spectacular and oozing with atmosphere, BUT at the same time RE4 is a little more recent still in people's minds, and the midget and slowmo fight scenes and stuff are still iconic to a lot of players I guess, so I kinda doubt Capcom will f*** with it tbh

Code Veronica remake on the other hand could actually really shine tbh, that arctic setting with the more serious vibes, plus it means they can bring back Claire from RE2 remake and make some use of that new RE7 Chris design

Play them straight through. Resident Evil Remake HD > Resident Evil 2 Remake or the original they're both really good > RE Nemesis og (the new one is a hit or miss for alot of people and it's very different from the og but enjoyable in it's own right) > Code Veronica is just a weird game with some frustrating quirks, but worth to play if you like the original resident evil gameplay formula. > RE4 HD

5 is a really fun co op game, an its alright by yourself. Alot of people s*** on 6 but some of its action sequences and mechanics are fun, but it definitely has alot of problems.

It already came out that they're working on another remake. Prepare for a s***ty RE4 remake.

Just finished my first playthrough of Resident Evil 2 Remake (Leon A) and was extremely impressed. Capcom releasing this and DMC5 back to back was a massive flex, they may be my favorite dev currently.

RE3 was in development for at least three years. According to an insider this started as Rev 3 and was basically a completed game before they decided to turn it into RE8, so hopefully it’ll be polished
