The only one of these I’ve played is RE5 and like half of village. I bought this bundle though, where do I start?
they dont have the original resident evil 1-3 on steam but the resident evil 1 remake (the one that just says resident evil) is pretty close to the original first game with some quality of life changes so start with that one
would really recommend emulating the original resident evil 2 and 3 if you plan on playing them in order
the other remakes i would say play after experiencing the originals first

I can’t play video games right now, but come the end of March I’ll be able to. Do you think I would at least be able to knock the first one out in a week and a half?

RE4 Remake is a guaranteed hook & banger for the series

for sure, i beat that one within a week on my first playthrough a year ago
results may vary ofc but most of the resident evils are fairly short like 10-12 hrs besides like 4 remake
Finally finished my RE8 replay. I forgot how weird the ending is. Going from Heisenbergs factory straight into the Miranda/Chris stuff feels so rushed. Chris randomly finding Mia alive, the lore dump crammed into Miranda’s lab, them trying to cover the Chris not telling Ethan the plan plot hole
just a whole mess
I think Ethan’s death was well done, but the Miranda boss fight before it is so underwhelming. Honestly her character as a whole is underwhelming. Lady D and the castle carry this game hard.
That said I’m going to do a PSVR2 playthrough before requiem comes out
is VR worth it? been wanting to get a VR headset for a while but not sure it its worth the investment.

I’d say finding a cheap PSVR 1 on eBay or fb marketplace place is the way to go if you’re not sure yet. It would let you try out some good games without putting too much in. Then if you like it, start looking around for better headsets and make the real investment. Some people really take to it but most play 15 mins then never touch it again.
I love VR personally and think it’s the most immersive way to play games. You can have some really amazing experiences you can’t get anywhere else.

what games have you invested time into with VR? ill def look into finding a cheaper pair to start out with just to test the waters. ive tried VR many times at my friends place and its crazy how immersive it feels. OG RE4 and some others really felt like an outer world experience when playing in VR.
my only worry is that i dont know if i have enough space in my gaming area to account for a VR environment. im scared i might bump into something or end up hitting my desk lmao.

100s of hours of Contractors/Showdown when they were popular, superhot, and lots of Hitman VR recently. Mods on PC are another big draw for me. I'm like 60% done with a cyberpunk vr playthrough, it's ridiculous.
I've done all that in a relatively small room with maybe 4x6 feet of actual "play space" to move around in. You don't need a massive room and there are tons of games with sit down modes you can play from a chair or couch.

I liked the whole Winters storyline but I'm glad we're back with the main crew
Would be cool to see Rose squad up eventually

I get this . I don’t know why first person entries have had so much trouble sticking the landing but it’s a pretty pervasive problem

My biggest worry for 9 tbh, especially with all the leon stuff going on

I have hope

From everything they've shown it feels like third person is way more a priority and the first person thing is more of a gimmick for the Grace segments
No way they designed Leon's parts in f***ing first person doing backflips and s***
I’m all for upping the horror, but let’s keep the coop where it is
I have so many fond memories of playing RE5 with my homie back in the day. I’d love to do it all again
Same
I remember playing it literally for 20 hours straight during summer break in high school with my best friend lmao
We played from around noon all through the night, one of my favorite gaming memories ever
So excited to see the blister heads act like modern crimson heads
it’s happening for sure
Physical copies out in the wild, stay safe yall
just saw the steelbook cover and back a couple mins ago yeah im off twitter from here on out
