i still think they'll do a demo, iirc the village one dropped 2 weeks prior to release. also the director said to stay tuned for more reveals soon

Really hope they can pull off these two styles without making the game feel like a disjointed mess.

One of the issues will be that, for the Grace portions for instance, since the game is going to have to inevitably be split into chapters a la RE4, you won’t get that singular, continuous, unbroken experience you get in the previous classic survival horror entries (unless they do seamless switch offs of the characters while also having them in the same area).

Hoping that Leon’s portions also still feature puzzles and the like so they don’t end up becoming a little monotonous.

-A continuation of Leon being an action-filled supersoldier
-And the Grace sections being glorified Ashley Graham sections (this time with some combat)

Personally I don’t see anything wrong with this, but Geoff Keighley did claim that this is the most ambitious RE game to date at its world-premiere reveal and that it boasts the biggest scale ever in franchise history;
I was hoping this RE Showcase would show more of what makes this entry particularly revolutionary for the series, and tbh it didn’t really give much of that impression..

They keeping the game secret man. They've already shown glimpses of open town environments and Leon's Porsche will most likely be drivable. It's a big game they are just saving it for players to play
