Just got a random desire to play these all lol. I'm starting with Resident Evil 2 Remake.

Forgot how freaky this game is lol. I just binged like 5 hours.

Started with Claire ofc

finished RE7
some frustrating parts but overall it was very good. The atmosphere is great, and the setting is truly immersive. They lean in to gross-horror, and there are a lot of visceral parts of this game. The final boss fight Eveline is pretty bad, there just isn't much to it and it's very anti-climatic. It felt rushed to me.

Game falls off a cliff after Marguerites boss fight. Definitely the game that revitalized the IP and the reason we’ve gotten two modern day classics though (re2 & re4 remakes). Re7 is a classic in its own right and a great addition to the franchise

just beat this today. baker house is classic RE but everything after it is bland and boring

Yeap. Beat it last night. (First run). The gameplay loop is pretty much perfect.

Resident Evil 3 Remake looks incredible on PC. I thought RE2 looked nice but a lil dated.

The facial animation is really well done too. Rockstar, Naughty Dog level honestly.

They said as much during their gdc talk

7 is important but those salt mines are horrendous. I’ve played all of thee new gen re’s multiple times each except 7 because while I like the early game it just nosedives

3 remake is good for what it is, def some missed opportunities that you’ll see in the game but overall a pretty damn good time

Yea its a little on rails but theres something nice about a game with no bloat. Just finished. Pretty short and Carlos seemed to be pushed to the side. But as you said, was a pretty good time. I like the small intersection in the RPD with Carlos. The same lock combinations working in this game was a nice touch.

Now onto Re4.

Re4 remake is kinda the masterwork I’m excited for you to experience that for the first time

Actually i started re4 long time ago and just never finished it for some reason. Its the reason i wanted to come back to the games. Im just gonna do a new game since its been so long

This game is literally so much longer than i thought lol.

What a game. Hardcore is actually so damn hard. These mofos be grabbing you every 2 seconds.

Interesting. I sold my gold egg in my first playthrough. Didnt know it did anything.

New game plus gonna be fun as hell. Gonna run through these hoes.
