However, this is such a f***ing stupid take. Why are people so fixated on Eminem? He had a successful career and is STILL charting after 20+ years of music. I sense that there's some sort of jealousy or something that hurts your egos or something because these types of threads just give off complete jealousy lol
I mean you can hate his music and that's fine, I never argue with people back if they don't like his music, but holy s*** stop trying to rewrite history, he's a huge artist and has had massive influence on probably some of your favorite rappers
it's more like they were huge eminem fans up until revival came out and got so embarrassed by the backlash that they had to overcorrect and obsessively hate on everything he does so they don't seem uncool. i can't speak for OP but this is just the trend i've noticed in these kinds of circles lol. normal listeners who just don't like em's music don't go out of their way to diminish his impact and influence, that's just what former stans do.

why do you care what a bunch of clowns who don't know anything about rap or the genre care? I used to get pissed when kids or whatever would call s*** dusty or be like "fuck _ (og artist)" and lash out, but I stopped caring because you can't change other people's opinions. Especially if they aren't willing to accept other viewpoints.
