    I don’t think that guy is insinuating Tory was well liked by everyone, but he definitely had fans and popular songs

    The same way there was negativity surrounding him, there were plenty positives; him having lit concerts,

    popping songs like Diego, Litty, that Cruel Intentions EP

    Also people loved Lost Cause and his Chixtape / New Toronto mixtape series

    Hate aside, the guy wasn’t a nobody and had a following and plenty going for him long before 2020

    Most of the hate pre-2020 was on spaces like Ktt, they’ll clown u here for listening to anyone that isn’t goth

    Tory definitely had motion in 2015 and was even on YG’s album in 2014 and I think even like a Joe Budden mixtape around that time but definitely starting around 2016 he was popping even if he was kinda divisive
