Recovery is vastly greater than Relape
and I'm going to explain why in the rest of this post
firstly, Relapse was rappity rap eminem. he wanted to make a point that he can still be a monster with the rhyme scheme's and flows, but didn't pay ANY attention to content, which ultimately made the album suffer
secondly, recovery, when things aren't going your way in life, actually slaps so hard and saves lives. Ive been super depressed in my life and listened to songs like not afraid and 25 to life and found life.
lastly, recovery was fresh. it was the first time we saw Eminem get as personal and retrospective as he has. on going through changes he apologizes to Kim bc he almost died. we saw no moments of this on Relapse, only cringe songs like "My Mom" that only focused on rhyming absolutely anything with everything
Recovery is a classic album, whereas Relapse was a testament that Eminem can still rhyme words together

I think Relapse is the classic, but I agree with Recovery having better content and being relatable when you're screwed.
Love how different those albums were considering how close they dropped.
But the beats, the flows, the hooks and the features on Relapse (50 and Dre) >>>>

Recovery has too many cringe moments, more than relapse. Never thought recovery Wouldnt be his low point tho, revival has that on lock
