Yooo this was one of the only cds I bought. Back in the day in California we had a store called Ritmo Latino.
Album was decent Soy Igual Que Tu was pretty popular too.
But looking back, them calling themselves the Supernatural Duo was corny

Lmao I remember ritmo latino. That store was huge and popping back then

@El_Senor did you ever see video from this show from way back then?, idk if it was in pr or Europe but jowell and randy would come out to guayoteo wearing space helmets and the crowd would go nuts. All I wanted was to go to concerts like that back then but I was a child

Yeah these were it! Except it was around 09 or 10. They’d come out in the whole space suit and walk slow and everything then they’d take off the helmet when it was time to sing

Low key I think Ozuna’s album is big mid. Only tracks I’m really feeling is Caramelo, el Oso de dinero, del mar (solo).
I feel with each album the quality keeps going down. For Nibiru most tracks is cool. Need another album like Aura

Thought it was ok as well. Nothing mind blowing but decent.

    Machete Music Presents: Carribbean Connection(2008)

-Hits: Controlando El Area, Fly Away, Movimiento Reptil
-An underrated compilation album featuring the best from reggaeton joining forces with the best from dancehall/reggae. Puerto Rico and Jamaica together putting out fire. Daddy Yankee, Don Omar, Arcangel & De La Ghetto and more on songs with Bounty Killa, Inner Circle, Mr. Easy, Elephant Man and more. Some gems on this. A forgotten project thats real unique and fun.

She sounds so good on these type of records. She could be Spain's Rih.

I don't like flamenco, but she will obviously keep making flamenco albums, that's what makes her stand out.

I've seen a lot of backlash on Twitter. They saying she's trying to sound like a latina during some parts of her verses, which, well, she is lol

yea twitter gets offended by everything and latinos/as always get salty when spaniards do reggaeton/urban things lol

I used to not listen to/look down on any reggaeton that wasn't from PR so I kinda get it lmao but now its a worldwide genre so everybody gonna do it.

Yeah, reggaeton spread faster than Covid in Spain lol. So it makes sense that everybody who wants to make it is doing reggaeton or what they think is trap.

She still has flamenco tho. So she just like Drake lol, she adapts.

genre also opened its doors to women a lot more in the last few years with Natti Natasha, Becky G, Karol G etc.. so it should be expected.
