60fps patch in mere moments
This your first playthrough?
Yeah I started like a year ago but picked it back up a week ago after too much GTA. Just got to Chapter 3
Still can’t believe I was originally sleeping on this s*** bruh. One of the best games I’ve ever played easily

Gonna be hard to top that story man. One of the best stories written not just in gaming but entertainment in general. It’s up there with Sopranos, Taxi Driver and all the classic stories

Can’t remember where I saw it, could’ve been on here, but the best praise i’ve seen for the story was someone saying that if it was a book written 100 years ago it would be considered classic American literature. Not only do I not think Rockstar will ever be an able to top it, I don’t think any game in the last 5 years has even come close. It’s really just something special

Yes. I agree 100% such a timeless story that touched on so many heavy topics.
I really feel like that game should be awarded some sort of Pulitzer Prize or something.
Game would be as close to a video game can get if Rockstar just focused on fun gameplay instead of realism
If you didn’t already know, this game is f***ing amazing
this game is a masterpiece on pretty much all aspects, everything else feels bland compared to it and it's been 5 years.

I hate this criticism the realism adds a ton

It's cool from a "Wow, they really put this in the game
" point of view the first few times you notice what Rockstar put in the game
But after a while the clunky movement and shooting, your character having to loot every single body every single time, your character putting his weapons back on his horse a few seconds after you ride etc just gets frustrating. The game should feel good and fun to play, that should be the priority. Rockstar putting their attention on things like expanding horse testicles instead of fun gameplay just feels like a missed opportunity
That weapon one was especially frustrating. Getting off your horse in the middle of a gunfight only to realize your horse ran off with all your weapons
Had to train myself to make sure I equipped Arthur every single time I got off the horse. Such an unnecessary feature that adds nothing to the game and only makes it worse

When I tell u I adoreddddd this feature
I used to stop away from these o driscoll camps, drop off the horse then pick up the rifle from the horse, s*** was so cinematic and once you play enough to get used to it you rarely make that weapon selection mistake

To me it added to the immersion and to the panic I sometimes felt when I got ambushed in the open world, I fw it
The one thing that I did hate & that never got fixed, is when you hop off a horse during a mission and you got two rifles/shotguns automatically assigned to your slots. So annoying lol
Really wanna replay this game but we have limited internet quotas in my country and that download needs its own quota lol
will go for it in my winter break

What do you mean by limited internet quotas? What country you in?

Some ISP services have data caps, they'll usually give you 1tb of data a month to use and once you go over you either get slower speeds or they charge you for every 10gb you go over. Not super common in the US but there's definitely some parts of the country that have it.
When you want to download a game as big as RDR2 it really sucks to use 1/10th of your monthly data just for one game.

Oh, like a capped internet plan
Thought it was like a nationwide thing where everybody in the country just gets a certain amount of internet to use
The wifi at my house is slow af (1 Mbps) so believe me, I know about trying to download PS4 games on slow internet
Fortnite was literally unplayable on that s***. Eventually decided to get a router and put a Sim in there. 10 Mbps and I only use it for my phone and PS4 but it still sucks having a limit you need to be aware of
