about 10 hours in now, not sure if I want to continue to sink my time into it tbh. I feel like the general gameplay feels clunky and unchallenging and think the realism chores are mostly just annoyances. Of course the game polishes up amazing as a finished product from graphics to voice acting to soundtrack. My only hope is that the story starts to build and draw me in somehow

Horse controls are the worst ever. Also the gunplay is way more casualfied than RDR1

Some things can be avoided if u are more into the story. My biggest issue is that I always felt like I gotta do everything out there all at once but it’s ok to rush through the story at first gameplay if u want to

Agreed with this. Game looks beautiful, voice acting is great, story seems interesting but I know the spoilers. The gameplay to me is just too sluggish and slow, and playing on PC there is a lot of input lag (reported to be high by DigitalFoundry). I’m using a controller and the game is just so unresponsive. I’m not really a fan of hunting, that’s pretty tedious to me. I’ve probably uninstalled it and reinstalled it 3 times but end up quitting.

Website went black, rumors are that an RDR1 remaster or remake was being worked on, but by a different studio. A few tidbits here and there in the last month of rockstar working on a next gen upgrade for RDR2.
If the RDR1 rumor is true, which I expect it to be, hopefully it won't be s***ty like the GTA ports
