I could prolly write 1000 words as to why this game sucks. But ill give u the cliff notes
- awful movement controls
- somehow the aiming mechanics are worse than movement
- its slow and boring
- 10/10 horse running screen saver
- hold to pick up, lets slow this boring ass s*** down some more
- on xbox it looked like s***
- a 2 hour gaming session after work = time to play 1 mission and 1 side quest
For these reasons, and many more its a boring f***in chore to play, and thats why the vast majority of ppl who bought it, stopped playing at some point between chapters 2 and 4.
Like no mans sky, its a cool tech demo, but an awful f***ing game. 6.5/10almost like you’re playing a f***ing western. sorry the horses can’t be taken to the body shop so you can put nitro shooting out of their ass

I just beat the game. Absolutely brilliant, I wasn’t expecting the twist that dutch would kill Micah, implying he knew that Micah betrayed the family

I never got to hear the d’Angelo unshaken song, apparently it was supposed to play during some mission but the game bugged out for me
i guess I’ll have to play through it again hoping I get to hear it

Very PeacefulYeah up until the game mechanics force you to slam into a fence post or a medium sized rock even when you’re not aiming in that direction, and then you go flying 10 feet into the air and it takes 20 seconds to stand up and get back on your horse
Seriously the horse mechanics are the worst part of this game, and this is coming from someone who’s beaten the story twice and logged a couple hundred hours online
If you aren’t just going full speed all the time, your horse will avoid obstacles on its own

I'm probably the minority but I like the low honor Last Ride and ending. The music and dialogue is much better and the "Damn us both!" just feels more

Didnt realize it was a trope in westerns for the hero to stand in front of every object theyre about to interect with, and look at it either confused or anxiously for like 6 seconds before reacting to it. U f***ing jackass.
Its great that they nailed the atmosphere and everything. But they made a game, not a f***ing movie.
