i get that, but people wanna act like weeknd is 100% pop which i expect better from here. he hasn't totally moved from rnb, his lead single from AH heartless is a clear r&b song with little to no pop undertones.
i also brought up that recently jhene aiko moved from rnb to pop and these guys are denying it
bryson tiller is no more rnb than weeknd is as well.

Idk, but a lot of them use that same pop drum pattern. I love After Hours, but I'd consider that more pop/synthpop than RnB. But it's pretty much accepted that Weeknd is Pop and R&B anymore anyway
