Andre Jaquetmarket him as a rapper lyricist heartfelt guy, on some j cole joey badass mick jenkins s***. it aint even a matter of how u market him bra, its a matter of push which is why u sign to the label. they supposed to put that machine behind him and help him build his momentum and develop him as an artist.
if they couldnt figure out how to market him they shouldnt have signed him. but that wasnt the issue, they sabotaged bro. they didnt even post the guy apst a certain point. didnt let hime ven do the moves to capitalize on hi smomentum for a small little fanbaseI see what you sayin, I think the label didn’t have much faith in homie from the beginning and he was basically Top’s son baby.. but If you ask me he’s not very impressive as am artists. Didn’t really stand out compared to all of their other signings even in terms of at the label

He had all the tools and resources to make great music. Buddy had the ability to work on his craft, study songwriting, really put in the work to promote himself with content etc.
And he just made mid ass music and expected the label to carry him to success.
Doechiii got the same tools and opportunity and has not let it go to waste, clearly working on promoting herself and working on her craft creatively to get better.
